Our used device grades explained

What grades A, B and C mean, and the checks every device gets.

Guide

Updated

Every used device we sell is graded, so you know what it looks like before you come in.

The grades

  • Grade A: looks like new. No visible marks at arm’s length.
  • Grade B: light marks. Light scuffs on the body or screen that you can’t see with the screen on.
  • Grade C: visible wear. Scratches or small dents you can see. Fully working.

The grade describes how the device looks. Every grade is fully tested.

The checks every device gets

  • IMEI and blacklist checked, so it isn’t reported lost or stolen.
  • Data wiped, with nothing left from the previous owner.
  • Battery tested, with battery health shown on the listing where the device reports it.
  • Fully tested before it goes on sale.

The warranty varies by device, and it’s shown on each listing.
